Yogurt Spoon

What a great design from Nojae Park. And don’t try and tell me you haven’t tried to like the inside corners of snack pots, we all have. This lovely design yogurt spoon will save those embarrassing time when we stick our tongue into the corner in a desperate atempt to get the last bits of lovely stuff.

High Resolution Hasselblad

Post #10372 - Speaking of high-resolution, have a look at this incredible 39 megapixel Hasselblad sample image. Roughly 30.000 dollar camera.
The new High-resolution, incredible 39 megapixel Hasselblad is simply jaw dropping. Roughly $30,000 dollars but it is amazing what it can produce. If you click on the image you will be taking to an example of just how detailed this camera is. Hasselblad has also been so kinda has to over a Digital SLR compassion of the same image alongside its superior 39 megapixel bad boy image. There are some more really interesting developments that have been made with this camera which can be found within the website. Well worth a look even if your not interested in photography. And just another little interesting fact I read somewhere a while back which stuck with me, if the human eye was to measure its ability with sight into megapixels, it would roughly sit between 18 and 24 megapixels.

Muxtape

cassette

Muxtape is a great spin on the classic 1990’s version of handing out mixtapes to fellow friends and loved ones.
The website allows users to sign up for a free account, upload a series of tracks at there own will from their own music collection. Once they have done this they can simply send out a link of their muxtape to anyone they wish for them to listen to at their own will. It is also a fantastic way of finding new music to listen to as every muxtape posted turns up randomly on the front page every time you enter it. There you can chose from a number of lists and go right into playing someones muxtape. Its a fantastic idea and works for so many purposes. I am truly a fan. If any one can find the muxtape I mad I will produce something amazing for you…the hunt is on.

I have also stumbled across a really interesting way of browsing muxtape with the use of Lepoards Coverflow found on Mac. Go have a read up of how its done and why its an even better way of using Muxtape on your MAC.

Airpress

Airpress
This is the first sensible AIR application release that I have found so far and to be honest, it is quite simply amazing! Previously when AIR was news of the week I didn’t really get it or understand its importance. Being a very visual person I really need a live working example of the sorts of applications it could produce and here it is. Airpress is basically a small application that can be linked to your wordpress blog account on either a MAC or WIN. This then allows you to upload,change/edit previous blogs all from within your desktop. /www.airpress.org/ layout and design of airpress is pretty intuitive and works really well. I am in fact using it right now to produce this entry. I would definitely recommend Airpress to anyone with a wordpress account. here is a link for you to download it… AIRPRESS

Trapcode Flux

Trapcode produce some amazing After Effects plug-ins and should be part of ever professional sequence designers tool box. Trapcode have announced that they will be releasing a new plug-in in called Flux in the near future. I am really looking forward to seeing the possibilities of this plug-in in, and if it is anything to go by Trapcode’s previous plug-in’s, it is sure to be a keeper.

Motion Graphics Tutorials

I have been using after effects for a number of years now and still find myself learning new techniques and skills all the time. Some of the tips and tricks I learn through experimenting and then others I sometimes find on tutorial sites. I have listed some of the better tutorial sites that I visit from time to time here:

Andrew Kramer
Creative Cow
Pixel2life
DigitalMediaNet
Layers Tutorial
Ayato

I have always meant to put together a tutorial of my own one day and hopefully I will get round to it soon…but until then go check it out the linnks and learn some stuff. I have a small sample of work viewable at MIDTHEORY. If you would like to ask me any questions about anything please go ahead.
